Morning all
Not alot going on here today. Popping to the shops for a couple of things. Washing to hang out and some ironing to do. Sky is bright this morning and the weather forecast has promised that the gusts of wind have eased so will definitely be out in the garden today and then on my exercise bike to do a couple of Kilometres.
Hope everyone's well and has a good day today x

Morning, thanks for starting us off @Chrisca. Apart from my exercise class later this morning I too have nothing planned. The weather is on the cusp of being good / not good.I didn't look at the nest yesterday, thought I'd leave it at least 24 hours before approaching again, and I'm scared that they are gone.
Another week, another dollar! I hope that everyone is doing well, especially those with hospital appointments.11 -
Morning All
Thanks for the start Chrisca, well done on using the exercise bike!
Bright and sunny this morning but still a bit chilly. I've opened the greenhouse so hope it stays dry and bright. The rain eventually cleared yesterday about 2 so I did some jobs in the garden and started to dig over the neighbour's patch - they let me grow some veggies in there, hopefully will get more done tonight, I had to give up as my back was aching - I'm not used to digging!
Got some shopping done yesterday and picked up a couple of bits for my holiday, the dress will be going back I think, doesn't do anything for me!!
Hope everyone is doing ok, good to hear your appointments have come through quickly Nanny.
Take care. XX11 -
Good morning, thanks for starting Chrisca.
Your weather sounds better than ours, it's raining here, though yesterday was a lovely bright day.
Not much going on here either, I'm visiting my house bound friend up the road this morning, and there's a bit of grocery shopping to do. I don't do a big shop every week now, I just don't need it.
Hope everyone has a good day, take care folks.12 -
Morning all
Yesterday was a lovely day - back to drizzle today.Lovely wander in the forest with loads of bluebells, managed to mow the lawn. And did a teeny bit of craft work.Back to work today for most of the day. Dinner is sorted with some YS cod and salmon fish cakes ……not that it makes any difference as I still can’t taste anything (4 weeks and counting 😞)

Morning folks and thanks CHRISCA. Similar weather to the rest of you. After a lovely sunny day yesterday (but cold out of the sun) today we have drizzle and gloominess. How much longer can this depressing weather continue?!
Today I am contemplating going shopping for some new specs. My test isn't due for another 12 months but my current specs have driven me crazy since the word go. I don't know how many times I have been back in for them adjusting and 12 months on they are still not right. So I have resorted to my old specs but, of course, I don't see quite as well out of them. But at least they fit! Needless to say I shall be going to a different optician.
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for our poorlies, poorly loved ones, sad or lonely. Take care all and be safe xx

Not raining here but not sunny either tomorrow looks to be the same it’s also very chilly still when will spring start properly!
Rob is back today thank goodness he is all back to fighting fit and raring to go, I have a gardener coming to mums today to see if he will take on the upkeep of her garden she used to have one but he retired so I hope this chap is good mum loves gardening but just can’t do it now so it’s nice for her to look out on a nice garden.
Then Rob and I will have a bit of lunch and then get out for a bit of a walk somewhere he will be longing for fresh air after being cooped up all week.
Not sure about dinner tonight plenty of salad stuff left so might get some chicken out and do a chicken salad with bread and butter, nice and easy.
Wm is doing its thing and the washing can be hung out later House needs a quick tidy but it’s not too bad.
Gers I hope muma and papa bird return to the nest xx
Camelot hope your dd has got over her strop and you are friends again now xx

Morning! Raining on and off but that's not going to stop me from tidying up the neighbours verge, the grass has grown across the pavement. Not that this is altruistic on my part, I'll put the excess grass in my bed to fill it up a bit more..Wheelbarrows at the ready! Other than that I have a covid jab today, then probably some tidying is on the cards and maybe some hoovering because I know how to have fun
Then there's seed organising and magazine reading, or more correctly, flicking to see if there's something new and interesting. No idea what food is otnight but I have cooked some fennel to go with something.
Chris, well done for using the excercise bike. When we had one at home it becaise a great wardrobecamelot, you could go no dig, it's a hell of a lot easier. Allie, well done for resisting the lure of too many chores! Izzzy, have a nice catch up. And beef stew sounds perfect for this weather, very brrr today! TA, definitely and don't accept them until they're perfect. I had to go back quite a few times last year before they got my contacts right, I bet they were fed up at the sight of me [no pun intended]..Ruby, good ot hear Rob is mended, enjoy the day! WL, hope your knee held up! Take care all, special hugs for nanny, fingers crossed for all doing childcare, get the headache tablets at the ready..and the berocca!

Morning everyone
Dull and drizzly here. Indoor thermostat is showing 15 degrees, but I refuse to put the heating on. Hopefully it will warm up a bit later. Work at lunchtime - we have a couple of new littlies to keep us on our toes!
Little one arrived about 7.30 yesterday morning - I was still asleep! We went down to mam and dads then after lunch I sorted out the shed while she played in some cardboard boxes that I'd kept for some reason. It started to rain so she was sat in a box with another one on her head for a roof, pretending she was in a car! I must have had visitors during the winter as my old jumper I kept for gardening had a big hole eaten in it and a foam ball was half eaten too.
DD picked little one up after work and I had a couple of peaceful hours with my book. Also had a good chat with eldest DD who had been taking part in a Hirox competition in Berlin. It's a bit hard to describe but it involves lots of heavy weights and running and I really don't know how she enjoyed it! Now she's wanting to do another one.
Better get on , hope everyone has a good day x10 -
Morning all, it's dull and damp here, again. I think we're maybe skipping spring and going straight into summer 🤞.
I had a nice time wandering around with DD and DGD, although we only did 2 shops and we had to go and have a coffee and a sit down as I was so tired. DGS stayed with Mr Fix It and kept him company for a couple of hours. I did buy a deep filled sheet so I'll try it when we change the bed, I'd rather it too big than barely reaching under the mattress and coming untucked.
I slept very well last nigt,10hrs with only one loo break, so I must have needed that. Still not 100% today but nothing needs doing so a day of sloth is on the cards.
Take care all, hugs to anyone in need.
