I have read on another forum, a similar one last year they managed to use a mail forwarding from previous address letter form as proof.0

Thanks for the replies. I changed address and when I started to go through the online thing, there was a list of things - one of which was bank statement. However, once I'd actually started the process after that, the list completely changed! So I got confused and didn't know what to do. The jobcentre has since said they'll accept a letter from the bank (in addition to the tenancy agreement) but apparently a bank statement isn't good enough, so has anyone asked for a letter from their bank before and if so, what did you ask for specifically? And were they helpful?0

Would a letter from a gas/electrical company work, rather than a bill. If you have a welcoming letter to your new account then would that not work the same?Proud to have dealt with our debtsStarting debt 2005 £65.7K.
