What would be the best option for us for going abroad?

So we are are going abroad soon to Zante. I just want to know what's the best option for us. I have a barclaycard credit card with 4125 quid balance via a money transfer. The money transfer is 0 percent for a year as long as we pay the minimum. I have 874 quid left on it to use. But I don't think we will spend anywhere as much as that.

I also have the clarity card with nothing on at the moment with a 3k limit and again unlikely to spend that much. We are likely to use the card on a meal out when we visit Zante town and also for gifts and such like and maybe an exercion if they accept cards. We are planning to take about 300 quid in cash just in case small vendors don't take cards. Also for taxi.

So what would be the best option for us.

Sounds like the Halifax Clarity is the one to use as no overseas transaction fees are payable.
Just remember to always pay in the local currency to get the official Mastercard/Visa exchange rate.

If you completely clear the balance by the due date, no interest or other charges should be due.
