    One thing I will mention is that it's not quite as clear cut as one bank/building society allows a 13th payment, one doesn't though, it depends on the individual regular saver. E.g. Coventry FHS issue 2 lasts 36 months but their terms state:

    implying that a 37th payment is possible.

    But their Regular Saver 6 goes by account month and doesn't allow a 13th payment.
    I'm assuming that when they say 'maximum balance' they actually mean 'maximum contribution' as there has been interest added to the balance given how long it's been open. I breached the £37k mark with this month's payment which was credited without issue and hope to get another £1k in there on 1/12 before maturity on 16/12. (Edit: FHS Issue 1 in my case but likely identical Ts&Cs).
