Nintendo 2DS

Options
Sold a mint in box and sealed Nintendo 2DS on ebay over a year ago now. This is just a warning to others.

I was glad as was a profit but he then claimed none of the buttons work. I said that was odd as was sealed but send it back and I'll give you a full refund. All fine.

Roll on a few months later and I decide to put my 3DS on as well. I factory reset it and what do I find. The buttons don't. OMG! Turns out the idiots at Nintendo disable all the buttons until you've setup the device via the touchscreen, then the buttons become active.

And just as I thought, nothing was wrong with the 2DS. Was all fine once setup. Sold it on as opened and unfortunately the previous buyer had ripped the box but still.

So anyone selling one, point out the buttons don't work until its setup via the touchscreen.
