BRITAIN’S GOT TALENT SERIES 17 PRIZE DRAW 1: TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY (“Prize Draw”)

 

Who can enter:

 

The Prize Draw is open to entrants who are: (a) resident in the UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man during the competition period and prize fulfilment period; (b) aged 18 years or over; and (c) not employees of the Promoter, STV Group PLC or are an immediate family member of the same; and (d) not in any way or professionally connected with the Prize Draw.

 

Please note that entrants must have a UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man phone number and address in order to be eligible to win the Prize Draw. 

 

Opening/closing date & time:

 

• Prize Draw in relation to the Britain’s Got Talent Series 17 (2024) programme (the “Programme”) opens for entries via PRTS, SMS and online via the www.itv.com/win or www.stv.tv/winwebsites (“Website”) on Friday 19 April 2024. 
• Prize Draw closes for entries via PRTS, SMS and online at 10.00am on Monday 17 June 2024.  
• Prize Draw closes for entries via post at 4.00pm on Thursday 20 June 2024.  

 

Winner selection & contact: 

 

• The draw will take place within one (1) week of the closing date and time for all entries.
• Subject to eligibility and compliance with all applicable terms and conditions, the first entry drawn at random from all eligible entries will win the prize.

Entrants who enter twice from the same phone number will receive a third entry into the Prize Draw without charge (based on the same details as submitted in the second call). This therefore works as a “3 entries for the price of 2 entries” offer followed by “buy one entry get one entry free” offers. Each call costs £2.00 plus your network access charge.

Entrants who send a second SMS text entry using the same mobile number by the closing date and time will receive a third entry into the Prize Draw without charge (based on the same details as submitted in their previous paid entry). By entering online, you will also receive one (1) ticket to participate in the “Winsday” Prize Draw for every one (1) paid entry.

 

Each Winsday Prize Draw opens at 1.00 a.m each Wednesday and closes at 12:59 a.m the following Wednesday. The ticket generated from entering this Prize Draw will be automatically entered into Winsday draw that is live at the time of your entry. There is a cap of thirty (30) paid entries across all online platforms (“Cap”). Any Entry Credit(s) used in this Prize Draw will also contribute to the Cap.

Prize: 

 

The prize consists of £90,000 and a holiday to Barbados.

 

(i) £90,000 

 

This element of the prize of £90,000 (ninety thousand pounds) made payable by BACS in the name of the entrant only. 

 

(ii) A holiday to Barbados

 

This element of the prize consists of a ten-night holiday for the winner and up to four (4) companion(s) to Barbados. The prize includes return economy class flights with a scheduled carrier such as British Airways or Virgin Atlantic from either Manchester or a London airport (subject to availability) to Grantley Adams International airport, return transfers between the Grantley Adams International airport and the hotel in Barbados, hotel accommodation at the Sea Breeze Beach House based on up to five (5) people sharing one (1) luxury two-bedroom suite, and an all-inclusive package including breakfast, lunch and dinner daily and premium drinks at a range of restaurants and bars. The prize also includes access to various non-motorised water sports including snorkelling equipment, boogie boards, paddleboards and kayaks.

 

Please note that Chefs Table and Private Dining are optional at an additional cost, payable by the winner. 

 

The winner will need a current and valid credit/debit card with sufficient available funds in order to check in at the hotel for security deposit purposes. 

 

The prize must be booked and taken up within 24 months of winner contact and cannot be taken between: (i) 1 December 2024 and 28 February 2025; and (ii) 1 December 2025 and 28 February 2026. 

 

Where the winner’s companion is aged under 18 years old, the companion must have prior parental or guardian permission to accompany the winner when taking up the prize. 

 

The winner and their companions must hold a current and valid passport and any other relevant travel documentation required for travel to and entry to Barbados. Passports must be valid for travel with a minimum of six (6) months on the date of departure from the UK when taking up the holiday. It is the responsibility of the winner to (i) ensure that they and/or their companion(s) adhere to the visa entry requirements to Barbados; (ii) organise and pay costs associated with obtaining visas for the travelling party, (iii) ensure that the travelling party is adequately insured including without limitation covering overseas medical costs, (iv) ensure that the travelling party adheres to the travel itinerary and other relevant safety instructions as set out by the prize provider of the holiday, and (v) adhere to the local laws in Barbados. Particular attention should be given to the travel advice on https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/barbados/entry-requirements. It is the responsibility of the winner to inform the prize provider of the holiday of any wheelchair or similar access requirements for the winner and/or their companion when taking up the prize, and to adhere to any applicable health and safety guidelines.

 

The prize excludes ground transport to and from the UK airport, meals and drinks (other than those specified above), attractions, treatments excursions, car hire, travel insurance, personal expenses, visas and vaccinations. 

 

Upon booking their trip, the winner will be bound by and subject to the prize provider of the holiday’s terms and conditions, which can be viewed at https://www.kenwoodtravel.co.uk/terms-conditions. 

 

All elements of the Holiday are subject to availability at time of booking. The holiday is non-transferable and non-refundable.
