Don't see why it should - the competition is in the Sunday Times so anyone buying a single copy sees the details and can enter without being a member. If you try to read an article it may restrict you - I am a member but it periodically logs me out and won't let me view without signing in again3

Funny things happening. I have had a Times account for years that gave me two free articles a week, one of which I would use for Where Was I. When I try to login using that account now it tells me that I must subscribe.
Etch's link, however, magically bypasses that.1
