Piggybank loans and credit file

I defaulted on a piggybank loan in 2013 which to be honest I was in the process of moving was only £100 I thought it had gone through as was linked to my bank card . Fast foward 7 years later out of the blue piggybank contacted me asking for the money and I noticed they had put hard searches on my creditFile a year after it had fallen off, After going back and foward they agreed the debt was statute barred and they couldn’t enforce and gave me the default date but they’ve refused to remove from my credit file it also says agreement to pay to which is a lie as I’ve not even acknowledged the loan which I’ve only just seen I’ve written and emailed for a sar but it’s been ignored I’ve also sent a email today to they’re complaints department and have had a reply saying that they’re complaints are no longer being delt with as no longer in administration . I just want it removed from my file any advice please ???

Raise is with the CRA's as incorrect.  They will then go back to the creditor.

If they don't supply the information requested in a timely fashion, the CRA will re-asses and generally remove any inforrect information.

Remove what from your credit file?

The whole entry should have dropped off automatically 6 years after default, if it hasn`t raise a complaint with the CRA`s.

The process is automatic so should not be there at all now.

I guess the default date is recent which is why it hasn't just dropped off your credit record. the default date should be back shorlt after you stopped paying.
You can complain to the CRAs that the default date is incorrect and the administrators say they are not considering any complaints about this which is unfair. The CRA cannot change the default date but can choose to suppress the record so no one else can see it.

The default date I have a screenshot which is 8/03/13 it was not on my credit file. I got an email out of the blue from the administrators who added it a year after the thing would have dropped off with the note each month say agreement to pay! Which I never even aknowledged the debt! I went to trans union they said piggy bank would not remove even tho I had proof! They have said now after I sent another complaint that to contact them and they will remove but they will completely be out of administration and cease in a few days !

Exactly it would have been removed as default date was 8/03/13 they contacted me in 2020 I said I knew nothing about it I checked my credit file nothing told them it wasn’t on my file a month later it showed up with 2 hard searches and been reporting it every month!
