Not a helpful comment at all. He's been working 'till last week. He's starting chemo soon and the side effects sound abhorrent.kaMelo said:Without wanting to sound stupid but is he actually sick enough to need to be off work? He doesn't have to be off work if he doesn't want to and can still do the job, many people carry on working despite a terminal diagnosis.0 -

For us , A blood test every 3rd week, then chemo doctor that’s Monday.
Thursday, chemo.
If blood count is low, 2 units of blood, that’s 6-8 hours in a chair.
CT scan every 12 weeks.
Now under, chemotherapy, thyroid clinic, Gastroenterology, Lung clinic, Heart clinic due to blood clot in lung.
Nutrition clinic, 10-15 visits a month.
I’m very impressed with the hospital.
Every time they find something amiss we get another appointment with a specialist.
The only gripe I have is parking at the hospital.1
