Small update of sorts, I am currently at step 7 of the "First 12 steps" by the looks of it. I have just received the "intend to proceed" letter from DCB legal, which also asks me to phone them and settle the case out of court.
Has been filed away as per the steps instructions.2 -
Hi All, a further update. I received the paper copy of the N180 questionnaire on Friday and I have now submitted by email my completed Form N180, and copied in DCB legal.
Followed guidance on the forum again, thank you.1 -
A question for the experienced members on here, does it normally take a while for MCOL to update? I submitted my N180 by email on Monday and it is not showing up on MCOL yet, the latest entry is the claimants N180 which was there before I received mine.
Thanks
Edit: I received an automated response from the DQ.CNBC email address after submission.0 -

Hi all,
Referencing my UKPC/DCB claim.
This seems to have taken a long time, my claim was transferred to my requested court on 28/5/24. Admittedly I did let them know about some holiday I had in August though, but still seems to have dragged on.
I finally have a court date in late January, and WS has to be in by 9th Jan.
I have so far received one email from the DCB Legal team on 19th Nov, trying to get me to settle (As advised in other threads that this would happen). I refused the settlement offer.
I have not yet had them try to call me to put further pressure on.
I have read lots on this but can't find the info again, my question is how close to the court date do DCB usually discontinue the case? Should I expect this to happen before Christmas for instance?
Thanks in advance!0 -
