Tax on investments

I am currently a uk non resident , and I do not earn anything in the uk . I have a uk bank account which pays my voluntary national insurance and a few other minor out goings .
I have recently inherited a sum of money and would like to invest and receive the interest in monthly payments , how much  tax would have to be paid on the interest?  . It will be around £6000 a year . 

I currently live in Spain .

You will struggle to open a UK account as a non resident. Do you mean save or invest? Your mention of interest suggests the former

As mentioned on the other thread, you're unlikely to find a mainstream UK savings provider who'll open an account for a non-resident, although if your current account provider is aware that you actually live in Spain and are happy to continue on that basis then they may be willing to do so, and NS&I is another potential option.

I don't know enough about cross-border taxation to know the answer to how much tax you'd be due to pay in Spain, but there'll be expat forums and the like where this sort of subject will be discussed.
