Electric oven

Options
When fitting my electric oven I've found that gas pipe leading to hob is stopping my oven from going back far enough, after taking the top off the oven I've found that there's a big enough void between casing and actual oven .would it work if I cut the top corner off the casing to enable it to fit .

Bad bad idea , move the gas pipe instead

Ovens need clearance arund them to dissipate heat if that copper pipe is too close to the oven, there is potential for the pipe to melt for want of a better word and cause a leak

Any indy gas safe engineer will reroute it for peanuts and that will help you if you ever replace the oven
