Hi
I find the Trustnet Portfolio a useful tool when it comes to tracking the performance of my s&s ISA and SIPP. My question is is it possible to add individual shares listed in the USA as a holding? I have played around with the add holding feature and searched online but cant seem to find it. For example if you held AAPL or MSFT individually, could you add that to a Trustnet portfolio?.

I just checked the commercial version and you can on that. Trustnet is cut down from that and a quick check suggests you cannot as it's limited to:

I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.2 -
Ahh nice reply thanks, there is actually more than that for me on normal Trustnet when I go to "Add Holding". What I see isdunstonh said:I just checked the commercial version and you can on that. Trustnet is cut down from that and a quick check suggests you cannot as it's limited to:
IA Unit Trusts & OEICs
Investment Trusts
Pension Funds
Life Funds
Offshore Funds
Exchange Traded Funds
Venture Capital Trusts
Equities
Warrants
Cash
Indices
If I choose "Equities" I can then choose "International Equities" but the listings I want are not there (and the examples I gave microsoft and apple arent there).0 -
ahh, maybe it was a pull down that I didn't pull down enough!
On the commercial version, there is an option for US Equities.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only.
