PIP question

Equally I cant stand to cook doesn't mean you cant prepare a simple meal, you can sit to cook.
But needing to sit whilst preparing a meal should be classed as requiring an aid (in this instance a perching stool) and should score 2 points for the PIP cooking activity.
OP - The reliability criteria is important for PIP:
From the PIP assessment guide"For a descriptor to apply to a claimant they must be able to reliably complete the activity as described in the descriptor. Reliably means whether they can do so:
- safely – in a manner unlikely to cause harm to themselves or to another person, either during or after completion of the activity
- to an acceptable standard
- repeatedly – as often as is reasonably required, and
- in a reasonable time period – no more than twice as long as the maximum period that a non-disabled person would normally take to complete that activity
We recognise that the reliability criteria are a key protection for claimants."
Also the PIP assessment should look over a 12 month period:
So, the forwards test looks at the amount of time the individual is likely to meet the conditions of entitlement for a particular rate of a component of PIP - this is a minimum of 9 months (from application).
Is it reasonable to expect that the difficulties you experience with your knee will continue for this length of time?
It looks at how you are on the majority of days (over 12 months) - not just on your bad or better days.
