Octopus - Monthly Direct Debit Query.

I pay my bill in full each month.  However, I calculate how much my monthly payment (over a 12-month period) should be and pay that.

I do it this way to ensure that I am neither overpaying nor underpaying, like I may be on a variable DD.  Works exactly the same as variable DD but I am in total control.  I just log in each month and make a top up.

Thanks to all for the considered and considerate responses. I have had conflicting comments about this issue from my bank and from Octopus. Hopefully it will become clearer over the next few days.
