Finding shares

I keep getting shareholder information for AXA and vaguely remember that employees were to be given shares.  I can find no information from that employment and am having difficulty in finding contact information to see if I am on their shareholder roll. Very new to all this any help would be appreciated.

If you Google "Axa Shareplan" you can can find details about its standard share scheme but it looks like if you were employed in the UK and made no election then at the end of the term the default is for you to receive shares. It looks like it is managed by Equniti, which is a share registrar, see below. Google will find you a telephone number. The letters you've received may show a shareholder reference.
