Moving house - getting help to clear house

I have back pain too, so loading boxes into the car just wipes me out, even if it’s just a small job. Last time I moved, I knew there was no way I could handle all the heavy lifting without paying for it with pain for days. I hired a moving company that handled everything: they packed, loaded, and set up my stuff at the new place while I just directed where to put things. Honestly, it was worth every penny compared to trying to do it myself. If you want a service that takes care of everything and has fair pricing, you can check out Three Movers. They’re really clear about what they offer and have flexible services, especially if you need more support for the heavy work.2

Our local removals company has vans of all sizes. Not only will they pack, they will also do a house clearance of stuff you don't want to take, if downsizing. They redistribute usable stuff to needy people and take rubbish to the tip. Invaluable service. Recommended on my local Facebook page. Good place to look for recommendations /reviews.1

For our last move we used a local family run company. They were as good as some of the other posts on here. I loved the padded bags to protect furniture and pictures. It was interesting to watch them pack the kitchen stuff. They disassembled my hospital style bed and assembled it when we arrived. They had 5* reviews and I gave them a 5* review as well.
A small bonus was that they didn’t stop for tea breaks, they provided their own drinks. They didn’t even want any of home made cake or M & S choccy bikkies. 🍩🍪🍩🍪🍩
webonlynused a “man with van” once. They had a young lad with them and he took some things from the freezer and put them in a box of books. 🙀0
