Are Fuse Energy, really the cheapest ectricity variable tariff on the market?
I see they are a fairly new company, but they claim to be the cheapest variable electricity provider but wanted to hear from their customers to see if this is consistently the case?
Also, any feedback on their customer service would be appreciated
Thanks

I've been with them since September and found their response quick for the minor query I had.Everything is done on the app, including messaging. They bill monthly using a factoring business so no credit build-up.My tariff at 23p/kWh seems good (South West Region), they state they make no profit on the 63p standing charge.0

Definitely not the cheapest for me.Economy 7 user in West Mids, using 785kwh year daytime and 5372kwh year night time. With Fuse that equates to £1097.27 per year. Same usage with Utility Warehouse (electricity only, no other services) on their value tariff equates to £854.55.Not trying to promote Utility Warehouse, I just go with the cheapest option.0

There's now also Home Energy which has come up for me on a Cheap Energy Club search. https://www.homeenergy.co.uk/

Correction to my earlier post.21p/kWh, 64p/day.0

Low usage electricity consumers in high SC regions might find https://www.tomato.energy/ cheaper due to average regional SC/kWh rate.
North East SC 40p daily instead of SVR 71pish, unit rate 22.24p
FuseUnit rate (per kWh)£0.2022Standing charge (per day)£0.68462 -
I think they are lowest price. They changed (lowered) my tariff on April 1 due to price cap change, then again mid April to a significantly lower SC and unit rate. No exit fee, so no risk.
Customer service via app has been very impressive.

The standing charge in the price comparison results on the Cheap Energy Club are lower than the standing charges you will find on the Fuse website (or they were for me). They still came out the cheapest but not quite as cheap as Cheap Energy Club results claimed. So check the prices carefully - the standing charge for the fixed for me was 44p per day rather than the 35p claimed in the comparison search.
Unfortunately there doesn't appear to be a way to manually reflect the real rates in my Cheap Energy Club account so the next time I search for a comparison I will have to remember that I'm paying nearly £33 more per year.0
