They are debt collector solicitors! Same crap.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

FYI anybody interested, this is the reply from them (I will have another look on the newbies thread regarding what to do next):
Good Morning
Thank you for contacting BW Legal.
Our Client gave you the opportunity to pay a discounted sum, however, you failed to take advantage of this so therefore £100.00 is due and payable. Furthermore, our Client has incurred additional costs which represents the nature and type of work undertaken by debt recovery agents in the collection of the balance of the unpaid parking charge. Our Client is satisfied that under the parking contract, the additional costs incurred are recoverable and you are liable for the same. Consequently, the total balance of £170 is due and owing.
We note you have previously appealed this matter with our client and your appeal has been rejected.
Please seek independent legal advice.
Should you have any further queries please contact our office on 0113 487 0430.
Kind Regards

They haven't "incurred additional costs" as the debt recovery agents haven't recovered any alleged debt, and they work on a no win no fee basis for the PPC.They can say what ever they like about their client's parking contract that doesn't make it enforceable unless a judge agrees, pure scammers!3

Thanks @fisherjim. They have avoided answering both specific questions of course.
I wish I could buy everyone on here a drink or two for all the advice. It's not taken for granted. From what I have read on here; I just need to wait now and see if they take this to court as opposed to any additional communication with them. Is that correct?

And did you report them to HMRC for suspected VAT fraud? It takes a few minutes to do so:

I think you have to state VAT concerns as fraud is a bit too strong unless you have significant proof.nickkkk said:
