    In our last property the plastic consumer unit was rated C2 because it was in a bedroom, otherwise it would have been C3.

    Just been asked by Barratt Homes to get the electrical report done. It's been over a month since we submitted the reports to the solicitors, so quite annoyed that they're asking us now as we're so close to exchanging contracts. Been quoted £945.

    Barratts agreed to do a retainment. So they'll complete the electrical work once we've moved out, but we will still have to pay them for it. Bit annoying, but we've agreed and exchanged contracts today.
