Cynergy website - cannot update personal details - have to ring up!!

Does anyone else find Cynergy's website primitive and unhelpful in certain areas?
I already have a Saving Account and wanted to open an ISA so I clicked on the Fast Track application. All looked good, I pressed Ok and get a message saying my NI number is missing but there's nowhere to add it.
It turns out you have to ring them up for this or other personal detail changes.
That might be OK if they had enough people manning the phones, but it took them 32 minutes to answer.
Plus the guy on the other end didn't seem to think this was a problem and wouldn't pass it on as a feedback issue.
They may have good rates but beware poor customer service.

Why didn't you just apply on the website?

I did - sorry I put app and I've now changed it to website.The only app they have is their own authenticator.0
