Are there any contracts that don’t charge £££ for sending pics?

Im detoxing from social media (and feeling better for it for now) but miss being able to send a few pics. They are very very slow trying to email them from my phone (even as one at a time) and texting on O2 is pretty expensive. I know it’s seen as an out of date way to do things but is there a contract that includes being able to without the £££?
thanks.
thanks.

What phone/apps do you and your friends have?
If you use an internet based messaging service like WhatsApp, iMessage etc then there is no charge for sending media2 -

Pretty sure that all the mobile operators charge £lots to send picture messages by SMS (MMS).
Upload to the Cloud (eg Google Photos) and send a link via email, or as others have said, use an internet-based message service.1 -
There are 3 companies I know of that don't charge extra for MMS Picture Messaging. These are VOXI, SMARTY and Superdrug Mobile. However really anyone using MMS should check what they're doing and use an internet service. Modern Android phones also should be able to enable RCS (also know as "Chat Features" on Samsung). This routes messages and pictures via data sending to other phones that also use this service, similarly to iMessage on iPhones. This feature is coming to iPhones as well so should soon be cross platform.0

Doesn't RCS revert to SMS (and possible charges) when the recipient is not using RCS?

If I accidentally try to send one it will fail.
