Gers - thanks for the help. Had a look but can't see a red cross. It looks like this on my laptop and like the other post on my tablet - to be fair it's a white cross (plus) on a red background!@Izzy - what a magnificent bird, a real bobby dazzler. Not sure I'd want one outside my house, it's bad enough here with the hordes of geese honking away.
@ Nan - I'm sure that whatever you wear will be fine, it's good that you are well enough to go there.@Ruby - I hope that Rob is really well now and enjoys his baking.@DP1 and @Nan - my kitchen is really tiny and I don't have room for an air fryer, plus it's just me here so I'd probably not have much use for it. It's great idea though.@TA - that's disgraceful service from you DS's letting agents, he should be chasing them for some explanation at the very least.@Allie - having no sense of taste or smell is really difficult. I think that DP1 had the same post-COVID.I've been to my class and worked extra hard. For the resistance bands stuff I've asked for an orange one which is the strongest, it was tough going but I enjoyed it.It's intermittently horrible and nice outside and the wind is blowing a hoolie. And it's bitter. Off for a plate of soup.

Horrible weather here, rain, hail, sleet, wind. It woke me up at 5.30
Trying to get pooch to walk further than 10 yds was hard work
Glad Rob is better RR. Lovely peacock Izzy. The last school I worked at before I finished work had purple gingham summer dresses dp1DH was rained off today so we went and did a Mr T shop instead of getting a delivery, found a few reductions, one was a mini chicken roast dinner with stuffing and a sausage, we'll be having that later!.We are picking up DGS in a bit and I'll see if we can call at our friends on the way.Take care everyone x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. Hi everyone,
We're just back from a climbing wall place with Esben, it was very good but Esben was a bit nervous. Laura didn't realise till the last minute that it was a training day. Esther is at nursery though so not too bad.
I need to go and make biscuits with Esben for his lunches, we've given up on school lunches because he doesn't eat most of them.
Coxy, I had to look back to see your photo, I'd have been quite nervous.
Have a good day.9 -
Love that pic of the peacock @IzzyBeeThanks for the heads up re the Jamie Oliver prog @dp1 I've put that on to record. I've got an airfryer and I don't thinnk I use it as much as I could. I cook frozen chips, sausages and roast potatoes in it fairly regularly but might get some more inspiration from Jamie after watching his prog! The wind is still blowing a hoolie and looks like it's in for the week. It's getting tedious now8

@Chrisca50 , there has also been a programme on Ch 5 ( 4 programmes) on Sunday nights. I caught the last ( I think) one last night on replicating takeaway favourites. I googled and I think they're on catch up or Yutube now, looked to be some good recipes, only taking about 20 mins!

You're welcome Chrisca - I enjoy watching Jamie cook anything really. I tend to cook things like fish and chips in mine and I love sausages coked in it. A chicken breast wrapped in bacon cooks lovely in it too.
Always Allie yes I had no sense of taste in the first few months of Long Covid but it's ok now - it was really annoying!5 -
