Everyman cinema membership

Anyone taken out Everyman cinema membership? I think for an annual fee you get 6 free tickets, BOGOF Mondays, special event offers, 10% off food and drink.

Is it worth it if you don't drink alcohol, and not sure how much pizza/ burgers can munch on again and again.

Would I be better off just joining Vue or Odeon?

£89 a year, our local Everyman is £20 per ticket near enough so the 6 free tickets have a reasonable saving even before you look at the other aspects.

How often do you want to go to a cinema on a Monday? Do you have a +1 to take each time?

Personally think Everyman is a very different proposition to Vue/Odeon/Cineworld etc. Now that the Odeon has lost control of the BFI IMax then I'd probably opt for Cineworld's offering but then its both my local multiplex and their IMAX isn't hard to get to and I value the big screen/latest sound systems. Enjoy going to Everyman but it's not my preferred environment for blockbuster/action type films.

Since BFI isn't Odeon any more it has its own membership scheme but it gives discounted tickets/waives fees... to be honest only found out today Odeon had lost it.

Cineworld ranks each cinema by group and you decide which tier you want which determines the price. Ours is a Group 3 so £19.40 but Group 4 is £21.90 and includes Leicester Sq. If you want to go to an enhanced screening like IMax or 4DX you pay an uplift when booking the tickets irrespective of cinema group.
