We are likely heading there in the autumn with friends - haven't been to Menorca since the Middle Ages - anybody been in that neck of the woods recently(ish) ?

There is only one ATM in the town according to anecdotal stuff online - if so, that narrows the choice down somewhat !!!

We use a "user friendly" card to settle bar bills etc. - but it's handy to have a few Euros as well.

Well unless you are staying in the middle of no were there are bound to be some ATM,s about as well as some banks .

No bank in Punta Prima as far as I can determine and one ATM apparently.

Has anybody actually been there ?

Just Googled it and it says it has one Euronets ATM which has the worst exchange rate available.
