Moto G84, BT smarthub 2.

As the title. Using wifi calling, if I dial out, the first call fails, it rings out, they answer- I hear them, but they don't hear me and the call fails after a few seconds.
Calling straight back, it works fine.
Calling after a few minutes, fine. Leave it an hour and the first call fails.

Incoming call, I answer, they can't hear me and it fails after a few seconds. They ring back and it is fine

Also, my internet radio when streaming for a while, when I try to get my favourites from the radio portal, the first time it says "Wah-wah, network error- try again", and works when I try again, this is a wired connection.

For all I know, the PC could have hundreds of failed connections but just continually retries downloads & web pages until it works.

Obviously, the fix for the 'phone is to disable wifi calling and it works first time every time, but I have to stand in the window to get a decent signal.

A google search reveals a couple of people with the exact same problem on iphones, and the helpful suggestions don't go beyond "turn the router off and on again" (basically no-one has a clue)

Is there some thing I can do on the pc that will log failed connects so I can complain to BT?

I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

Strangely enough, I was going to post the same thing, also with my wife's G84, but with the EE router.
My G84 doesn't seem to have the same problem!

EE and BT are the same company now, probably the router is the same.

My g84 "updated" the other day, it is now running Android 14 UTC34.22-64-6. Are both your 'phones on the same version?

Thinking about it, it worked fine before the "update", as it has only recently started to really annoy me by failing every single time............

    Maybe it is the phone?

Think you have your answer , can you roll back to a previous version and see if the problem manifests itself?

No idea how- it is android.

However, I dug the old wireless access point out of the cupboard and connected it so that I have another wireless network attached to the router, connected the 'phone to that, and enabled wifi calling.

    It works perfectly.

So the problem is the BT wifi, or the 'phone......
