It's not a generic overall "sign up". You separately give an organisation access, and give them the visibility needed for the specific purpose. For example let's say I allow my TSB account to see my Lloyd's accounts, and allow the account details and balance to be shown on my TSB login. How does that enable anyone to see whether or not I have a mortgage?But remember being told by someone high up, that the only reason that it was signed up to use. Was the ability to see who had a mortgage & target them with offers on their own mortgages.
End of the day when signing up, you are agreeing in effect giving the companies a open view on your finance's.0 -
