Ever been criticised for spending your own money?

Seems like a very basic algorithm - and the wort of thing I switch off.
But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,Had the whole of their cash in his care.

I’d say, don’t take it personally. Natwest started sending me all sorts of budget stuff that I really wasn’t interested in as part of their “helpful bank shtick.
(It would be more helpful if the branch was actually open at a time I could get to it, but that’s a different debate.)
There’s probably a mechanism somewhere for opting out of those sorts of messages. Otherwise as to the previous poster’s suggestion, moving to another bank from one that you’ve been happy with seems a little bit of an extreme response unless you wanna chase the switching rewards on offer. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
I regularly get one saying that my outgoings are more/less than last month (not particularly helpful on an account that isn’t actually my spending account.) None of the other stuff though, perhaps because their algorithm can see money going to savings accounts in addition to Faster Payments made to my other current accounts.

I get regular emails from Halifax offering me loans. At the end there is the ability to feedback how happy one was to receive the message. At first I responded that I was "neither happy nor unhappy" but recently I've been responding as "very unhappy" but still they come. I think I'll need to go online and check the marketing preferences and see whether that is where I need to make an adjustment to stop them.
ETA I've now changed the marketing preferences to exclude email notifications. So the emails should stop within 28 days.0 -
I get a monthly message suggesting I put money into an account to cover upcoming outgoings as the balance is low. I keep a £5 balance in there and cycle money through once a month.Debt Free: 01/01/2020

Which bank? Some of them offer something along the lines of, 'spending insights' and they offer these sorts of messages. You can usually turn them off in the app's settings. In my experience they're not criticisms, just facts directly related to the account.1

I got an alert from Zopa (whom I have a credit card with and have linked some other accounts to their app via open banking), saying ‘It appears that you’re using your ******* credit card to pay for essentials.Well, duh, yes I am. It’s an everyday spending card. I take it they’re implying I’m relying on credit to cover basic living costs. Which is what many people do but I pay it off in full and it’s the first month I’ve had that card.0

Mine wasn't an email. It was a message through the app.0 -
