Shared app to snapshot mileage monthly

Does anyone know of an app that you can put on multiple people’s phones to prompt them to record the current car mileage say monthly please?  And possibly to also record fuel spend per car?  And maybe notes?  Don’t need to track individual trips but looking to keep an overview to inform decision making and monitor trends in monthly mileage, where multiple people share multiple cars.

I don't know of any app specifically for that, but you could use something like WhatsApp for that quite easily. (Presumably this is for work vehicles?).

Set up a group for each vehicle - call it whatever the number plate is and car e.g. FOCUS AB12 CDE. Invite everyone who uses that vehicle and yourself to that group. Ask them to input the mileage to WhatsApp at whatever frequency you want - first of the month or even every time they use the vehicle and same with fuelling etc. Then you have the info available to review on each vehicle.

Alternatively you can just have a vehicle log book that you keep in the vehicle,  get the driver to fil it in each time they use it, and review at the end of each month. This is what they have in our fleet vehicles. Also used for recording vehicle defects and repairs.  Are the drivers expected to do pre use vehicle checks as well? You could incorporate the info you need into the vehicle check form.

This is for business use?

You could fairly easily build a shared spreadsheet for submission of everybody's details, with a macro to email a nudge if there's been no submission for an interval.
