Price fix coming to an end
Options
I have been on a 3 year price fix with EDF and was having a look around at prices for E7 and am shocked at how much the standing charge and day/night rates have increased.
The standing charge is almost double, from 23.86p to 55.71p a day.
Day rate 24.13p to 28.28p.
Night rate from 8.28p to 12.76p.
I added up my annual usage and see that 60% use was from the night tariff so I assume E7 is what I should stick to?
Looking at a comparison site the end result of the tariffs do not vary much.
The EDF tariffs require a smart meter installation. "Smart meter required get one at no extra cost!"

You should be able to get a better night rate than that if you check other suppliers1
