Maternity Pay
Hi all, hoping someone will know better than me.
At my work, we are entitled to 6 weeks @ 90% pay, 20 weeks at half pay + SMP, 13 weeks at SMP and a final 13 weeks no pay.
My question is, a friend advised she thinks I would be entitled to some Universal Credit for the period of time I am on just SMP and then again when I am on 0 pay, would this be correct? Just wondering if anyone else has applied for this before if this was successful or refused?

Maybe you could post on the benefits board for a better response.
