ESA vs Universal Credit?

Sorry, rather late to join this conversation, but can anyone tell me what will happen with my ESA migration if I am in the other group rather than support group? I'm very nervous too about potentially having to go through WCA and provide fit notes again simply in order to migrate to UC seamlessly for the time being.
I have a key-worker, a registered mental health nurse - can they write a note or letter instead of my gp (this is what happened originally when I had a Work Capability Assessment a few years ago)? I haven't seen a gp in some time as my treatment is consolidated at a separate organisation which works alongside the NHS. (for addiction and mental health problems).
Thanks 😊0 -
Your WRAG classification translates to LCW for UC. If you receive an extra amount for that in your ESA (if you've claimed since before April 2017) then you'll get the LCW element in with your UC.Pointless_walks88 said:Sorry, rather late to join this conversation, but can anyone tell me what will happen with my ESA migration if I am in the other group rather than support group? There is no reason that migrating to UC would trigger a reassessment. We can't say categorically that you won't have one, but if you did it would just be coincidental timing rather than because of claiming UC.0 -
Hi @Spoonie_Turtle. I left a similar comment on a new thread yesterday which you answered, and so much obliged to you for clarifying 'work-related group/support group' on there, and also for the info you've provided here. It at least puts my mind at rest re. consolidating my ongoing claim before any potential changes further down the line. I can now briefly exhale and get on! Thanks againSpoonie_Turtle said:

They are currently sending out 2,000 migration notices every day, they haven't the manpower for it to trigger reassessments.Pointless_walks88 said:
