Car insurance named driver

My daughter was on my insurance last year, as a named driver, when another car hit her on the roundabout. No question as to whose fault it was. If she were to take out her own insurance on her own car does she put down my claim as she was the driver? Difference of opinion at the Funnie Farm. TIA

yes she should put it down she has had an accident.
'Have you had any motor accidents, claims or losses in the past 5 years, no matter who was at fault or if a claim was made?'

Yes - she had the accident - not your policy.
