FULL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE COMPETITION

“WIN A CATAMARAN CRUISE FOR TWO IN GREECE” – Competition”

Organisation:

The company GLOBESAILOR SAS, Limited Liability Company with a capital of 14 329 €, registered

in the Paris Trade and Companies Register under the number 489 893 909 and residing at 141

Avenue de Clichy, 75017, in Paris France, is holding a contest which is free and without obligation

of purchase, from 10th

 of April until 12

th

 May 2024. 

Participation:

This free competition is open to any person over the age of 18 except for employees and

representatives of the organising body, their partners and family members. Participation is

limited to one individual per residence (same surname, same address). Participation is on a

strictly individual basis and the participant may under no circumstances enter under various

pseudonyms or on behalf of other participants.

By entering the competition, you are accepting to receive information about the

game and any other news and promotions from GlobeSailor.

Terms and conditions:

To enter, all you must do is fill in the form at the top of the webpage dedicated to the competition,

provide your email address and your full name, and then click on the ‘Enter now’ button to send

the information. Clicking on the button implies an acceptance of rules.

Attempts to enter multiple times could lead to the exclusion of the participant. The organisers

reserve the right at any moment to disqualify without warning participants who have tried to enter

the competition multiple times or in any fraudulent way.

This contest is not managed or sponsored by Facebook, which the organising body discharges of

any liability.

Participation in the competition implies full acceptance of the present rules without any

exception.

Declaring the winners:

The winner will be selected at random from a prize draw on the 13th

 of May 2024 by GlobeSailor.

They will be notified via email or a phone call by GlobeSailor. If the individual does not respond

within 15 days of the prize confirmation, the winner will be disqualified, and the prize will be

lost. The prize will be given to the winner of a second random draw.

If the prize is not used by the winner, it will be lost for the participant and will be remain property

of the organizing body. The winner waives the right to claim any damages resulting from the

acceptance and/of use of the prize against the organizing body.

The winner authorises any identity and address (mail and/or Internet addresses) checks. Any

false information as to identity or address shall invalidate the prize and all aspects of the entry

of the winner. Due to their participation in the competition, the winner authorises the contest

organisers to use their full name, address and photographs for promotional purposes linked to

the competition as needed without compensation.

No message will be sent to non-winning

contestants.
Prize:

The winner will win a cabin cruise for 2 people in Greece (value of 4198 € tax incl.)

The prize is not interchangeable with a product, service or a replacement prize of equal monetary

value and cannot be used for a partial or full refund. The non-acceptance of the prize, for

whatever reason, will not lead to any financial or other compensation.

The prize offered includes:

Accommodation in a double cabin for 2 people with bathroom and private toilets

The cruise is running from 15th of June to 14 September 2024, the winner will be able to

choose their dates based on availability.

Half board (7 breakfasts, 6 lunches, 1 dinner and snacks)

Breakfast on day 8 will be served in a take-out box

Drinks: water, coffee, tea, wine or beer for lunch.

Crew services: skipper and hostess/cook

Bedsheets and towels

Water sports on board: fins, mask, snorkel, and paddle

Wi-Fi connection (depending on the navigation areas)

Air conditioning (on average 2-4h/day when the boat is not sailing)

Boat and passenger insurance

The prize offered does not include:

 

Flights

Transfers to and from the airport to the boat (taxi approx. €40)

Alcoholic beverages (except wine or beer served with meals)

Dinners (except 4

th day in Dokos)

Cash on board (compulsory) to be paid in cash on the spot (€200/person in double,

€400/person in single).

Tips for the crew (€50/person) 5-10% of the amount of the cruise

Cancellation insurance and other personal expenses. 

Liability and responsibility:

Participation in the competition implies a full acceptance of the rules in their entirety. Any

inaccurate or untrue declaration or fraud will lead to the disqualification of the participant. The

organising body shall incur no liability if, in the case of a situation of force majeure or because of

events outside their control, they are required to cancel, cut short, extend, or postpone the

competition or modify its conditions or dates.

Under no circumstances shall the organising body be responsible for the service of the charter

company who is providing the boat.

Data Protection

The personal information collected in the context of this prize draw will be treated in accordance

with the Information Technology, Data Files and Civil Liberties Act of January 6, 1978. All the

participants in the draw have, pursuant to Article 27 of the Act, the right to access and modify

data regarding them. The participants are hereby informed that personal data concerning them

may be passed on to the commercial partners of the organising body, and that they may oppose

this transmission. All requests for access, correction and deletion should be sent to GlobeSailor

SAS: 141 Avenue de Clichy 75017

Paris.

Reimbursement for costs of Internet participation and insurance claims:

Participation shall imply knowledge of and consent to the characteristics and limits of the

Internet, the lack of protection for certain data against possible hijacking and risks of

contamination by possible viruses on the network.
The organising body declines all responsibility in the event of improper use or incidents

related to the use of computers, access to internet, to server maintenance or malfunction of

competition servers or any other technical connection and the registration of an incorrect or

incomplete address.
