Hi,
I'm looking to sign up to register to vote to help my credit score, I would like to know if the credit reference agencies can access the relevant details for me if I opt-out of the Open Register?
Thanks

Don't worry about your score, it's nothing more than a meaningless marketing gimmick. But yes, being on the ER is a big plus when you're applying for credit. It doesn't matter if you opt-out of the open ER register - the CRAs will still be able to see whether or not you're registered.3
