Morning all! just....Good catch up yesterday with friends, i stayed away from the chocolate and had tea instead. Friend had recently paid her structural engineer roughy what I paid so we were both happy we hadn't been overcharged. nanny, thanks, it's not icthing too much now, still sore though. I was worried because one of the side effects of one of the tablets I am taking, even though it is increibly rare statistically, is Fourniers gangene, [the doc made a speical point of telling me all about it when he prescirbed it ] and I was having a panic in case it was the start of that. Historically, i underplay every problem, but twice now it's bitten me on the behind with something much worse, so these days, I worry more if it's something unexpected and not usual. Not raining too much today so potting on tomatoes, fetching and swapping some plants and a visit to the cinema are going on.Have a good day if you can folks....Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi8

Hi everyone,
I lost yesterday to a migraine, hateful things.
The oven cleaner man is here so I'm looking forward to a lovely sparkly clean oven when he leaves. It takes me at least twice as long to do and I can never get it as clean as him so it's worth every penny.
Laura has taken Esben to the cinema and Esther is at nursery so the house is quiet. Tomorrow is Brian's birthday so he and Steve are going for a game of golf and then we are meeting at a nearby pub for lunch, hopefully I will be able to eat without throwing up after it. Then tomorrow night Steve and I have a quiz, one we've won the last three times so fingers crossed we will do it again. The prize is always wine though which is the last thing we need in this house. Laura's latest article has been on gins so we are overrun with bottles of that which have been sent to her.
I hope everyone is as well as can be expected.
Have a good day.10 -
Hello everyone
It's weirdly warm here and the sun keeps peeping out then going back behind a cloud. A bit windy though but we can't have everything and it's drying the washing, including mine and little ones coats which were muddy from the gardens yesterday, hers very mine just a little from helping her up on to a swing seat.
Good news for my dad, a speech therapist went yesterday and he's now allowed to eat soft foods and have less thickener in his drinks - she'll come back next week to see how he's getting on. I took him a little bar of thin Dairy Milk and he ate it slowly with a big smile - he was the happiest he's been in weeks.
Also done my shopping this morning so I now have the afternoon to myself, I have hoovering and tidying to do and will also go out and have a potter in the garden.
DD and little one have been to Newcastle for a hospital appointment, just a check up which was fine - little one had told the doctor that her tubie was 4 yesterday!
Always Allie - you're lucky with your doctors it's difficult to get to speak to a doctor at my surgery never mind get an appointment. I've been trying since last week to get a new fit note - I spoke to one of the receptionists yesterday, who told me to do an e-consult. I explained I had tried on 4 days to do so, always before 9am, but it just said the e-consult was closed, try again tomorrow. She said it shuts down automatically after a lot of requests, but she'd try to request one for me - I haven't heard anything so will have to try ringing again. Ours is meant to be one of the worst surgeries in the area for getting to see a doctor.
Right better get on, hope everyone has a good day x9 -

Evening all from Worcester!
Yesterday we walked from Bridgnorth to Bewdley which was 18 miles - couldn’t use the Severn River Way as it had breached so took to a national cycling route up and down many hills in the torrential rain. Slept so well last night!
Today has been warm and dry - not complaining! Tomorrow a relatively short 10 miles 😊
Hope everyone’s doing okay. The trip to Alnwick Castle sounded fab @dp1 x
