Government Boiler Upgrade Scheme

Does anyone know if this scheme can be cancelled at any time? I became too ill to work so am eligible for the grant to upgrade my boiler but I asked the provider to slow down and push my installation back by 2 weeks to give me time to process the paperwork and consider the upgrades that were available ( I have a brain injury so need time to digest things and I couldn’t cope with the speed at which they were pushing me). They came back and said no prob also said the scheme rules keep changing so they couldn’t guarantee the grant would still be available! I’ve been extremely anxious and worried over this but I need time to process everything as I’ve had to ask so many questions and it’s become quite overwhelming. The government website says it is open until 31 Dec 2027 so are they using sales tactics or could I potentially miss out if I don’t sign up now and let them install next week?
