Online through website, not app, there is a 'Wheel of Fortune' which can be spun once a month per fuel. It has 12 segments, 5 x £0, 5 x £1, 1 x £64 and 1 x £512. Despite several years of spinning I have a sum total of £0 won. Ditto my partner who lives elsewhere. So it is not random in any sense but clearly rigged to pay out whatever pot they have decided upon. In all honesty I'd prefer they didn't do it at all as the constant non winning is a real negative.
But you never know! Share the excitement with me now as I do this month's spins:
electric - £0
gas - £0
Now there's a surprise!!0 -

Previously I had zilch each time but, following the revision last autumn, I now get 8 each for gas and electricity twice a month. These only convert to octopoints linked to reduction of use periods but the shortness of notice and low rewards for reducing usage at high peak times is hardly worth the effort - less than £9 in the past 6 months.0
