Historic SSE electricity tariffs
Does anyone know where I can find the SVT SSE electricity consumer tariff for the last few years?
SSE can't/won't help.
Trying to help someone with an old bill and it appears that the tariff used is something based on ofgem's current examples rather than what should have been charged at the time.
Dorset should it make a difference.

I'm looking for between Nov 2021 and Sept 2022.
If there's a clip on any bills you can find from that period that you can paste on here I'd be very grateful.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe and Old Style Money Saving boards. That is brilliant!! Thank you!!! We've been told the standing charge was over 60p a day!!Not the same region - this is for me in EM - showing changes to multirate cap in last 2 years - so its very unlikely to have been 60p - for the whole periodIn last 2 years
23.85p Oct 21 - Mar 22 rose to
44.84p in Apr 22 up 21p / 88% inc SoLR
45.85p in Oct 22 up 1p / 2%
50.4p in Apr 23 up 4.65p / 9.9% (slightly below Ofgem)
50.7p in Jan 24 up 0.3p to match Ofgem / 0.6%
55.72 in Apr 24 up 5p / 9.9%The regional changes in each cap though make it hard to match. So can only suggest you use the historic Ofgem tables - assuming they were always on a capped priceYou can of course find out the Ofgem caps historically - that goes back to 2019So follow links - for each cap period - to energy price cap level - to default tariff cap level tables - find your fuel (if 60p - that's clearly electric - but missed if you said Single rate or multirate electric (think likes of E7)) and payment methode.g.Other Payment is Ofgem speak for direct debitStandard Credit is pay on paper bill stylePrepayment obviousYou want the relevant nil kWh figure for your region (SR or if E7 = multirate) - the figures are annual and ex VAT - sodaily price = (nil kWh / 365)x1.05 (to add + 5% for vat). The other thing you might need is your SVT xx.xp / kWh rates - these are also available based on the total - but that total also includes the nil kWh -so unit rate = (total - nil kWh) / 3100 + 5% VAT for SR or /4200 for E7 style multirate tariffBut these are all the raw Ofgem cap - and unit rates were heavily subsidised / discounted under the govt EPG scheme for 3 quarters (longer for prepay)And so a further complication - from Oct 22 to effectively Jun 23 - EDIT - just noticed luckily outside your dates - was the EPG capThat gives the regional rates under EPG for SR.Some suppliers applied the discounts the 16.6,31.8 and 17p equally to peak and off peak rates on E7 etc and showed them explicitly on the bills - others only quoted the net of EPG rates - and for single rate - those should be as from the gov uk site links (and again mainly quoted ex VAT).If on E7 - its going to be a lot trickier - as then would need to know exactly how Ovo / SSE split the peak and off-peak to match the total (or if you like average kWh unit rate Ofgem cap) - and the discount - as some didnt apply discount equally initially - but were forced to in Apr iirc.
