Morning all, just checking in. The wind is still blustery and someone's plastic recycling has blown down the road and literally been kicked to the kerb by the bin men, so it's just been left in the gutters. One load of washing has been done and another is dancing in the wm but it will be indoor drying as showers are not far away. This morning I asked Mr Fix It to get 2 suitcases down from the top of the wardrobe because I need an under top ready for next weeks funeral as the black top I want to wear is a bit see through 😳 Two suitable tops were found so they are having a freshen up in the wm before I choose which one to wear.
Hope everyone is well

Hi everyone,
First chance to get on today, I have both children today because Esben's nursery is attached to a school and doesn't open in the school holidays. Laura is working and Steve is golfing (rather him than me it's brass monkey's out there), Brian is also working but upstairs and on call if I need him (roll eyes emoji needed). Esther is now asleep and Esben entertaining himself so I have time to post.
Esben is really into colouring at the moment and (proud grandma warning), very good for his age. He is decorating most of the walls with Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends and now we've moved on to characters from In the Night Garden for Esther!
Have a good day.11 -

My heating will be going back on shortly. I can't believe how cold it is today. This weather is going backwards. X

Hi everyone
It's pouring down her today and meant to last all day. Little one arrived early this morning - she's been practising playing her keyboard and we spent a lovely hour or so painting little clay fairy and unicorn figures. - it was very relaxing.
This afternoon we've got the library books we got yesterday to read and then she's wanting to play scrabble and snakes and ladders before her mummy comes.
I had a nice chat with DD in Germany last night - she was telling me about all the trips she has planned for May - apparently she's only at home for 4 days out of the month! She's going to Vietnam and Hong Kong for work, then Corfu for a pole dancing camp, then Italy for work and then ending the month with a holiday with a friend to Turkey. Her life aged 27 is the complete opposite of mine at the same age - I'd been with my then husband since I was 19, he was a lot older than me and quite controlling. She has no plans other than to travel wherever she can.
Right, little girl is wanting attention. hope you all have a good day x9 -
Afternoon all, endless rain.... I noticed water dripping down the wall in the downstairs loo, I think it's blown in through a fan on the outside wallI decided that today I would have a bus trip to the Trafford centre - the buses do take over an hour so a bit of a trail, but DH popped home and said he would run me to a stop that would cut out going to town, waited but it didn't turn up & when I checked on the app it said disruption. Luckily he'd said he would stay until I got on, so we came back home Never mind the weather is terrible! Perhaps another day... I wanted to have a look round as SiL said there is a big MnS, and as we don't have one any more ....I don't think I've even been since we moved here nearly 9 yrs ago now, it was a lot easier from the previous house.DGS and family got back from Wales yesterday, I got a call to ask if they could drop him straight off here on the way back, and his DM asked if I could make some toast ready for his younger half brother as he was starving Always happy to help. DGS watched some videos and then started drawing - Snoozer, he used to love drawing those kind of characters too but hasn't bothered in ages so I was glad to see him start again. He was just using a black sharpie & was very happy when I fetched a lot more colours downI did manage to sort my freezers out yesterday morning, and I'm going to edit my online shop due tomorrow as there are several things that I had ordered again that I found in the depths of the chest freezerCoxy, hope you are managing ok on your walk with these storms. Stay safe all x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. (Eleanor Roosevelt)10

I gave up on bras several years ago and switched to using knit camisoles instead, mostly beige or dark gray. Cost a lot less too. No one has said anything as they hold everything in place very well. Much easier to put on as well. I used to have back problems as I am well-endowed, but those have stopped with the knit camisoles too.6
