Anyone kindly have a route for me, please? 3 to 4 miles max if possible - thank you.

Starting at the station? If so leave the village itself, cross the heath into Greenwich Park. Walk the main drive to the Observatory and you’ll get a fabulous view down to the Maritime Museum and the Thames. You can then drop down into Greenwich itself (indoor market may be on) walk along the river, grab food. There is the Fan Museum on Crooms Hill and of course the Cutty Sark.
If you want to avoid the walk down into Greenwich (it’s a steep walk back after all) you could stay on the level and visit the Rangers House with the Wernher Collection just outside the park; it’s English Heritage.1 -
Through the park is only a couple of miles and could be extended by looping around if you want a longer walk1
