Independent Furniture Inspection?

Hi, I bought a bed from Dreams a year and a half ago, the bed has a fault and after reading the reviews it appears many other people are experiencing the same fault, as its been over a year since I bought it, Dreams have said I need to get the bed inspected and a report be provided to move further, they have suggested a company called Emmiera that they always use.
Do I have to use this company or can I use a different independent furniture inspector? Im just worried that the company they have suggested could be biased if they work closely with Dreams.

You can use your own independent inspector. You pay for it then claim it back if the report finds the bed to be faulty.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)2 -
Your free to choose any company you like, ideally it should be a firm used to doing such reports so they know what it should include etc as its not just an estimated cost of repair which some uninitiated folks give.1

This is so true, there are measurements that need to be taken with a bed and mattress inspection. A report that just says something like "it's faulty, needs a new mattress" is no good at all.DullGreyGuy said:Your free to choose any company you like, ideally it should be a firm used to doing such reports so they know what it should include etc as its not just an estimated cost of repair which some uninitiated folks give.1
