Hotels.com is axing it's free nights reward scheme, and the new scheme is horrible

Knew this was coming for a long time, but hotels.com are axing their 'stay 10 nights and get a night for free (based on the average price of the last 10 nights)'. It's now called OneKey and they've sent this stupid email hyping it up, but obviously the reward rate is hidden in the FAQs. It's a 2% reward rate, down from what was basically 10%. You'll get 'OneKeyCash' which you can spend whenever you want. The only upside of this is people that haven't stayed all ten nights yet will get their percentage accrued converted into OneKeyCash, so you can use it immediately instead of having to stay extra nights.

Thanks for the heads up.  My email is there, I'll read and digest later.
