Civil Enforcement Ltd

I was sent a fine saying I was parked in a Coop carpark for over 24 h! The actual time shot shows I “left” 14 minutes before I arrived. I have fought this all the way stating the timer must be wrong but have today read a default judgement demanding £309.03. I’m a pensioner and losing sleep over this. I genuinely did not stay for over 24 hours but feel powerless as I don’t know how to prove it. Please can anyone help? Thank you.

Show us the default judgment. Cover your ID.

How did you get that, by not defending a claim?

This might be one for @troublemaker22 to help with, if he has time.

  • We replied to everything and asked for calibration of their clock. We were not in the car park for over 24 hours (or minus 37 minutes depending on which letter of theirs you read).

I can vouch for the above poster - a solicitor - who wants to help you sort this mess out for you.  Let us know what happens in the end.
