Dispute with dealer over new van failed repair - am I liable or can I charge back?

Hello; I've looked on the website already and can't see this covered.
I bought a brand new Diesel van from a dealership with my debit card and it is still under warranty from Peugeot, although I bought from another dealer. The van broke down. I took it back to the garage for repair.
They asked if I had added AdBlue to the fuel but I explained I hadn't. They replaced the engine. After replacing the engine, the garage called me to say there was AdBlue in the fuel tank and I was now liable for the costs of repairing the engine and the fuel system - more than £7k, and not covered by warranty.
I said I wanted more information and the garage told me that if I or they called Peugeot I would have to pay £10k for another engine plus £7k for repair. Instead the garage have said they won't call Peugeot but want me to pay them £7k for the repair.
I think the garage have been dishonest but I don't know how to prove this. I can't do a section 75 but can I do a charge back? Communication has broken down and they currently have my van - basically I can't get my work van back unless I pay them the £7k even though I never put adblue in the engine in the first place.
Please help if you have expertise/experience in this area.

Have you asked to see the independent fuel analysis report that the garage have obviously requested and have?0

Contact Peugeot direct.
How old, van, how many miles?
Another dealer, were they a Peugeot dealer? Has van been serviced as per peugeot schedule.
As can not see how AdBlue in fuel tank would wreck a engine. Given it is a requirement & has a separate tank.
TBH, no chargeback right would cover this, from the info givenLife in the slow lane0 -
ad blue is injected into the exhaust just before the dpf if it was in the fuel tank it would do the engine in its horrible stuff
