Principality Building Society website, unable to log in.

It is not possible to log on to the "Your Account" section of their website because of "Website Maintenance".
I assume this cannot be planned as we are only a couple of days into the new tax year.

  • I should have explained, that is what I meant by "Partially Resolved"
However it seems to have gone back to its previous state of Log In not being possible because of "Website Maintenance".

I was in branch late morning and they were just coming back from some IT issues. After a short wait I was able to get my passbooks updated. Seems like it was not just a website issue.

A lot of them seem to be down. There's a thread about NS&I (although I can log in). Skipton isn't working. Must be meltdown as its the first working day of the tax year and everyone's moving money around

Its normally IT departments fiddling with things that cause them to break in the first place

It’s usually when making a change and you need to roll back, maybe to accommodate a change in ISA rules for example….
