Default removal agreed but still shows after 3 months

I managed to get my water company to agree to remove a default, and my credit score shot back up on my Experian account pretty much straight away. I was told that it would take 6-8 weeks for my default to be removed, and I can see on my multi-agency credit report that it's still showing on Transunion. It's been almost 3 months now.
Hoping to apply for a mortgage this July but I'm assuming I need to get this resolved otherwise I'll be rejected for one. What can I do? Has anyone had a similar experience?

Check with TransUnion if they have received it. If not, complain to the water company that they haven't updated TransUnion
If they have, check it's been updated on the actual/live report not just the free ones, if not complain to TransUnionSam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
