Default removal agreed but still shows after 3 months

I managed to get my water company to agree to remove a default, and my credit score shot back up on my Experian account pretty much straight away. I was told that it would take 6-8 weeks for my default to be removed, and I can see on my multi-agency credit report that it's still showing on Transunion. It's been almost 3 months now.
Hoping to apply for a mortgage this July but I'm assuming I need to get this resolved otherwise I'll be rejected for one. What can I do? Has anyone had a similar experience?

Check with TransUnion if they have received it. If not, complain to the water company that they haven't updated TransUnion
If they have, check it's been updated on the actual/live report not just the free ones, if not complain to TransUnion1 -
how did you get them to remove the default, wow thats really positive0
