Blocking a switch
Trying to switch energy provider but the new provider (Outfoxthemarket) says my old energy provider (Fuse energy) has blocked the switch so they can't proceed.
After switching, the Fuse app pops up with an alert box which only has one option "It wasn't me" in order to reverse the decision. There is no other choice presented, which I think is a bit underhand. Nevertheless, I didn't select it.
Anyone got experience of this and know how to get round it?

Had a similar problem when trying to switch away from Toto the Clowns. The switch for gas went through without a hitch, but electricity was another problem altogether. Had to raise multiple formal complaints and lost count of how many attempts to switch took place. Had even initiated a case with the ombudsman... The switch finally went through on the day before Toto went bust. Then started another round of fun & games with EDF when they grabbed both electricity and gas back from my new supplier.... That only lasted a couple of days.@Amateurd - You need to raise a formal complaint with Fuse and get them to remove the flag on the national database blocking your move. Do it in writing so that you have a paper trail should you need to go to the ombudsman.Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –
