Proof Of Earnings - Mortgage

Hey everyone. I’ve posted before.
Our mortgage application has gone in with Leeds Building Society. We have passed credit check etc, and they’ve evaluated bank statements and have gotten to looking at payslips.
I’m currently on maternity - during this maternity my pay has risen (I’m a teacher and went up in my appraisal) to £33,814. This is the wage I used on my application.
As I’ve been on maternity I don’t have any proof on payslips but my pre pay rise wage of 29,800. I only have a contract to say I’m on that wage and a signed letter from employer. Will they need information from payroll? Or will they be happy with my contract?
Has anyone has any issues with this before and has this affected their offer?

Usually last pre-maternity payslip is used for income assuming you are returning on same terms. An employment reference or payrise letter may be requested if income is increasing. Any future estimated childcare costs should be included in affordability.I am a mortgage broker.
