Nationwide incoming payments delayed again

Options
Just 2 weeks after the last payment issues, once again payments to Nationwide accounts are not being received. Still no sign of a Faster Payment sent more than 5 hours ago.

System maintenance is performed at weekends. A non working day.  Normal service will be resumed shortly.

    The faster payments rules:

As a minimum, all financial institutions in the UK must abide by the Payment Services Directive (PSD) –  this states that any payments made by mobile, internet or phone banking (including standing orders) must arrive by the end of the following business day at the latest.

System maintenance is night time weekend. Do you think payment broken all day is normal because it is not working day? Really?

Bank always advertise 2 hours for Faster Payment. Following business day is not normal. Yes maybe terms conditions. Everything now minimum service in country.

Should system support staff be forced to work night times at weekends. Really?

Do you think that planned maintenance is the same as a broken system. Really?

Really same as it has been for a very long time. Really it has.

Weekend day time working is commonsense if you think it through.

Usually if there is planned maintenance there's an alert beforehand warning that systems might be down or unreliable.

Did anyone get notification of work yesterday?  Did Nationwide describe the issue as 'planned maintenance'?

No they responded with the usual "we are aware of a delay affecting some payments to customers' accounts. We're working to fix this ASAP and we are really sorry for any inconvenience caused"
